More Than Words

Back in 2011, Mount Harvest and More Than Words met over a cup of coffee to discuss how to showcase this great idea: a social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business; and present it as a functioning, successful, and life changing tool for social change to a regional audience.

That’s when the 2011 MTW “Life of a Book” film was born. This tool, along with a slew of other brilliant marketing ideas garnered the attention necessary to make it the annual million dollar business it is today. And now, here we are in 2016 revisiting the drawing board with the same goal in mind but with a much larger audience to reach. Let’s show the nation that this model works: More Than Words.
